Talking Beat The Game, im a pro?

Alright, so I beat this game 2 times with a Caster and a Fighter! So I had to close up and the supporting view and experience of the game. The first time was with my caster, 2 weeks until I was lvl 20 and had beaten EVERYTHING. Ok so im all powerful now, I had the full armor, 2 super unbelievable items and everything was runed and colored the way I wanted it! I had full bags, every ( yes, every ) mission and quest done because I never left an area without doing everything first ( I wanted to explore ) I GvG, PvP and play Hall Of Hero's and I have chance to win but since Im a caster, I need a good party. So 50/50 to win in any of those.

Now, I made my second guy. A warrior and a mesmer, right up heavy damage dealer with a few mesmer spells to destroy my opponents. A Sword Illusionist! Now, Im not sure what's the deal, but I had to solo everything until Frost Gate because every party was filled with id- people who didn't know where anything was or how to play! I even had a party where the guys didn't know about the Death Penalty in Borlis Pass!!! I mean WTF, quote:

"As long as we can Ressurect, everything will be fine!"
"If all turns to worst, we can run"
"There is no death penalty you noob warrior weak mesmer"

The last one made me take out my lvl 20 and rush them at a super speed to Lions Arch, but I proved my point.

Anyways, up until the crystal dez. area, I was partied with noobs and countless times I would just explode. I guess after you beat this game, the whole thing get's linked into your mind and make's you a pro? Anyways, now I truly realize why people don't have random parties. You never know who you will work with until it's to late to turn back.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Think of it this way- your first time through most of your other players were beta folks that knew the game mechanics. Now you are having to group with people who have had little prior info aboutthe game. Look at it from their point of view they have someone getting mad at them because they don't have the aswers to the questions you think they should have.

Heck my small guild has ended up calling me the "Lore Master" just because I played a few betas and read up on how to do things when I don't know. This is my first MMO and our guild was formed from an old SWG guild so most evryone has RP MMO experience besides myself.

Just be patient these newer players are still learning the game.

The way it gets to grouping is just w/ your guild. I mean the only thing to do is to group w/ your guild. Im leader of my guild my guild ranges from lvl 7 - 20 80% we only group with each other 5% randoms 15% henchmens

So then, go to the temple of ages... and go to the underworld... all i gotta say is, (if your group doesn't know what they're doing, you're gonna die.)

Underworld is the bomb diggy for after game exp... talk about a change in needed skills... a MUST in evading/blocking skills... can we say Wow?

Anyhow, if you dont have the favor of the gods... then go to the HoH and try to get the favor back...

Most people with good /death counts, havent been to the underworld much ^.^, either that, or they run back when the team dies... which doesnt really help anyways, since there's normaly one bad guy with very low health left...

Wow, that IS a long time. But you may not be doing anything wrong per se. i personally like to take my sweet time sometimes (usually with my 1st character), and stopping to smell the roses takes time. if you wanna go faster, skip all the extranneous quests and gun for the finish line.

I have been playing since launch, have enjoyed myself the whole way, and there are still lots of things left for me to do that I am looking forward to. I am such a loser.

I haven't fully beaten the game yet, but believe me, I've regretted a few party choices before, one guy I got paired up with, well let me just say you could smell the weed through the mic it was so bad. He refused to do his job as a Monk PRIMARY, ant if one of us got a bit swamped for getting a little bit ahead, he'd refuse to heal us.

I wanted to snap his neck like a toothpick, he wasn't serious at all and cost us alot of deaths, though we did get through the Thirsty River Ascension mission, but that was on sheer luck... My few guildmates and I were frustrated with the guy, I won't say names, but he kinda creeped me out a little...

Meh, I'm not a pro, I know I'm not, there are far better players than me out there, a few of them Alpha testers [lucky devils], met one the other night, nice, seemed a bit show offy, but nice. I played two betas, so I knew what I was doing and what to expect, I'm new to most of the areas after Lion's Arch, never made it that far in Betas, I like to pace myself now. Now doing the Infusion run with my main char, have a R/E, Mo/Me and W/Mo for last three chars.

I do admit I have trouble dealing with the newer players sometimes, moreso the ones that are about my same level but act like idiots, as if they were dragged through instead of played themselves. I will stop into Ascalon City and give people help if they need it, I stopped a few people from getting a bad rep, trying to sell armor, they didn't realize other players couldn't wear it. So, all in all, I don't have the anger-with-newbies problem too bad. And, since I feel like I'm rambling and maybe going off topic a bit, I'm gonna scurry...

Later all.
